The entire MLOA membership is striving to serve student athletes, schools, and you in the utmost professional manner. As a lacrosse officiating organization we are committed to improve each season. We have expanded our training and are evaluating each official during the season. Officials, like coaches and players, do make mistakes but our goal is to minimize these.

If you have specific questions about applications of a rule, please contact Wayne Sanford, MLOA Rules Interpretor, by e-mail. Wayne keeps the rules application link current during the lacrosse season. I hope you review this link frequently.

MLOA has adopted an evaluation process for Varsity boys’ lacrosse coaches to submit electronically. In addition to MLOA’s evaluation of lacrosse officials, the coach’s evaluation input will assist in our effort to continually improve the performance of our officials. Please use this process in a positive and constructive manner.

The evaluation form is posted on this website during the season. If you do not have the required userid and password, please contact Phil Anson. The instructions for submitting are on the form. Coach’s evaluations will go to the MLOA President as well as the school Athletic Administrator. This information will be confidential and used as a constructive vehicle at the discretion of the executive board of MLOA.
